Positive Change on Saba – Albert & Michael – Saba Island Properties
What do we see new happening in real estate on Saba?
Many more people are visiting Saba to see if Saba’s lifestyle matches them as they think about relocating and changing how and where they live. Maybe part-time or as a permanent move and cultural change.
The change and serious movement seem to be about the election results in various countries,
the after-effects, consequences, and how people desire to live.
We see several larger Saba estates finally selling to people moving away from the USA and Europe.
This is good news not just for us but for Saba’s growth.
Saba is a special market. Exclusive for the right person. It’s a compact Caribbean island that is gorgeous, safe, and friendly. It’s not inexpensive and not for everyone. It is not crowded because the airport is small, which will not change, and gigantic cruise ships cannot dock. For many people, these are advantages that preserve this pristine island paradise.
We receive more emails and telephone calls than we used to about rental properties for students coming to the Saba University School of Medicine studying to become doctors, and other people worldwide wanting to know what it’s like to live on Saba, the cost of living, taxes, health benefits, banking, residency, and business opportunities.
12 years ago we moved here from New York City and have the unique and valuable experience of being expats who love Saba. We will tell you the truth about what it’s like to move here and adapt to a new environment and new cultural living experiences.
There is positive change happening to Saba.
Visit and see for yourself. Saba will most likely steal your heart and get you thinking about change and the quality of life you want.
As we know and say – You get only one life. One chance to live a happy life. Make it happen as soon as possible. Plans are helpful, but taking action and producing results work best.

Why Saba?
After living and working in New York City for 40+ years I leaped right out of the rat race of corporate America; leaving behind the relentless stress and competition that was wasting me; to rediscover what really matters to me in life.
We went looking for a new home all over the world - the Azores, the Maldives, France, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Malta, the Caribbean and by pure luck, found Saba.
Saba gives me peace, joy, freedom and a community where I feel I belong. People are respected here; living free and open, in the heart of deep nature and incredible beauty. It's a remarkable change.
The work we do enables us to care about other people. Helping them find a new home with practical empathy for their needs and dreams. It's an emotional investment. To listen. To understand. It's work that matters to us. Work we're proud of.
Maybe you have similar yearnings for change. Wanting a better way to live.
A place where you feel at home, with yourself and with the world.
