Pick One Broker You Trust – Albert & Michael – Saba Island Properties
You only need one real estate agent. Many people think they need to work with several brokers to sell their land or home or when buying property, but that is not true. More than one broker can be detrimental. It’s what they say about ‘too many cooks in the kitchen.’
When people look to buy or sell property in the Caribbean, they search online for Caribbean Real Estate, narrow their search down to a specific island, and then select a broker to begin to talk with.
Yes. They find us for Saba with years of expertise as real estate leaders and expats. Our experience of relocating from New York City after years of living and working there is invaluable for people looking to learn about life on Saba and what it takes to invest in homes, land, or businesses on Saba (a foreign country) and to relocate – part-time or full-time.
Find an agent you trust. See who they are affiliated with. Do they have a license to sell real estate?
Find a broker who is professional. Read their reviews. Talk to people and gain insight into their work.
Saba is a particular market. Safe – Friendly – Remote – Exclusive.
We like to meet people and speak in detail about what they are looking for – asking lots of questions, making suggestions, and sharing the facts about the cost of living, taxes, healthcare, financing, banking, and mortgages (which is a long and challenging process.)
Saba real estate is not a stop-and-shop situation. You’re not walking down a grocery store aisle filled with a fantastic amount of cereals to choose from. Often investors have a 3, 5, or 10-year plan that must be considered and respected.
We always ask people to visit Saba first. Get a feel for Saba and see if island life on a 5 square mile island with about 2,000 people, with magnificent scenery, once a week supply delivery, and hardly any beaches is for you.
Visit other islands and meet the people, and assess the size and security+++
Maybe come back and rent on Saba.
We’re thorough, and we’ll tell you the truth. We want you to love Saba and be happy here. Real estate isn’t always about the sale and money.
We collaborate with a limited number of other real estate companies. We don’t work with everyone. Our contracts and agreements are solid and professional – advantages to our clients who entrust us to sell their properties and people who give us permission to sell to them. We don’t hound, pester, and persuade but inform and support. We’ll show you what you’re looking for and always within your budget. Why show a million dollar property when that is not what you may want.
A top agent will promote and connect with the top of the market and care for your immediate needs and future plans.
We’re immensely grateful to our clients for their trust in our work and our creative ideas for living on Saba now or in the future.
We love Saba. It’s nearly perfect for our lifestyle needs. The quality of life is Saba’s greatest asset.
Again – Work with one broker you trust. It’s all you need.

Why Saba?
After living and working in New York City for 40+ years I leaped right out of the rat race of corporate America; leaving behind the relentless stress and competition that was wasting me; to rediscover what really matters to me in life.
We went looking for a new home all over the world - the Azores, the Maldives, France, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Malta, the Caribbean and by pure luck, found Saba.
Saba gives me peace, joy, freedom and a community where I feel I belong. People are respected here; living free and open, in the heart of deep nature and incredible beauty. It's a remarkable change.
The work we do enables us to care about other people. Helping them find a new home with practical empathy for their needs and dreams. It's an emotional investment. To listen. To understand. It's work that matters to us. Work we're proud of.
Maybe you have similar yearnings for change. Wanting a better way to live.
