TripAdvisor — The worlds largest travel site — ranks Brigadoon #1 of 12 restaurants on Saba — Brigadoon wins the ~ 2014 Certificate of Excellence
As in the musical Brigadoon where Tommy falls in love with Fiona, visitors coming to Saba have fallen in love with Chef Michael’s gourmet home cooking and with wife and hostess Tricia’s vivacious, welcoming ways. They’re two generous and giving people in all they do. The restaurant is faithful to Jay Lerner’s lyrics:
“ I told ye when ye love someone deeply enough anythin’ is possibe, even miracles”.
Brigadoon has been the Windwardside restaurant of choice for the last fifteen years in the loving hands of Michael and Tricia Chammaa.
Brigadoon offers the finest in dining pleasure — from your first ‘Pear Martini’ to the Crab Cake Appetizer… fresh Mahi, Snapper or today’s catch-of-the-day cooked in ‘crazy water’ along with phenomenal home made cheese cake desserts.
Michael totally loves sharing his talents with his international clientele and the kitchen is known for its Continental and American cuisine, top notch service and unending hospitality.
Set in an original 1800 Saban cottage, right in the middle of town, Brigadoon has for years been the nightly gathering place for vacationers and local admirers looking for comfort, excellent food and good drinks while they spend their evenings relaxing and celebrating.
- With 11 tables Tricia and her staff can host 2 – 4 – 6 and more dinner guests — 30 for a private sit down party
- Additional seating also at the bar for cocktails – appetizers – deserts…
- Or call in advance and simply — ‘take it on home’
- Comfortable Entrance Seating for your arrival while waiting for your party
- Full Bar with Ice Maker and Coolers
- Complete and Generous Size Kitchen
- Two (2) Bathrooms
- Road Side Parking
- Brigadoon’s Dining Room is a Covered Open Air Terrace with plenty of fresh night air, candlelight, music and atmosphere
Brigadoon is Albert & Michael’s favorite place to eat:
‘We love the whole experience. If we could eat there every single night we would! We’re never let down in any way. It’s quality and caring all the time. And when the moon rises and lights up the sea and hillside…you know you’re in heaven.”
But…life goes on…and with many years of managing an extremely successful and rewarding business, Michael has decided to retire and is putting his treasured restaurant on the market. Michael and Tricia will stay on for a few months if you wish, in order to introduce the new owner to their clientele, making the transition as comfortable as possible.
Here’s your chance to run the restaurant you’ve always dreamed of and…in the Caribbean too! Miracles do happen. Not just in musicals.
